Joshua Trebi

Joshua is a Ghanaian born Netherlands based dance practitioner. He is a trained Contemporary dancer, choreographer, educator, singer and a songwriter. Joshua successfully obtained his Diploma as a dancer, choreographer and an educator in contemporary African dance from the Noyam African Dance Institute, Ghana, in 2001. Besides, he owns a Post Graduate Diploma in 2008 as well as master’s degree of choreography from Fontys University of the Art – department of Dance, in 2010. He is a fulltime employee at the Fontys Dance Academy – Tilburg, Netherland

Joshua have choreographed a number of dance choreographies and have performed in a numerous dance production. He is a special icon in the area of Afro Urban/Commercial dance: a style that lay emphases on the social and popular African movement vocabularies with an academic approach. Joshua as a dance practitioner, aim to dance, is to share the spirit, love and the passion of African dance in an aspirational manner to reach the soul and the spirit of dance lovers, to experience and to discover their hiding talents, love and passion to dance.

  • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start on both days (April 24 & 25, 2026) at the entrance
  • We will meet you there and guide you to the workshop room

Please bring:

  • A water bottle
  • Light, comfortable clothing

On site:

  • Restrooms on every floor
  • No changing rooms or showers
  • You can change in the studio or in the restroom
  • No elevator
