Inclusive youth workshop by and with Meier Eden and Thomas Kunfira
The youth workshop takes place as a one-week project in cooperation with the Förderschule am Bienwaldring and the Albrecht-Dürer-Gymnasium.
Various dance styles and movement methods are used to address the interests of children and young people, encourage their abilities and talents, and strengthen their self-esteem, self-confidence and self-awareness.
Meier Eden and Thomas Kunfira teach dance, breakdance and acrobatics, promoting a sense of rhythm and coordination. Gymnastic elements such as somersaults, flips and complicated jumps promote physical fitness and challenge the whole body.
Pupils can contribute their own interests and ideas, which encourages creativity and group dynamics. At the end of the week, the pupils present what they have learnt in a joint choreography.
