Thomas Kunfira was born in Ghana and has worked in schools, kindergartens, youth centres and dance schools for over ten years as a course leader for dance, breakdance, drama and acrobatics. He uses artistic methods to help young people develop their skills and talents, boosting their self-esteem and self-confidence in the process. His working groups focus on teaching social skills. As a member of the Adesa group, he has toured the world, and he also accompanies the Reiner Meutsch Foundation „Fly & Help“, which uses donations to build schools in developing countries, as an acrobat every year. He performed at the „Festival of the Federal President“ at Bellevue Palace in 2019. With his group, Afrobeat, he took part in the RTL casting show „Das Supertalent“ in 2024, reaching the semi-finals. He also performs regularly at Europe’s largest Africa festival in Würzburg and at the FEZ theatre in Berlin as an actor and jumping acrobat.
