Dodzi Komlan Dougban, born in 1979 in Recklinghausen, is a dancer, choreographer, model and actor performer as well as an expert in non-verbal communication.
His parents came to Germany from Togo, encouraged him in his rhythmic training and supported him in performances with his folklore group Dzigbodi. His many years of experience as a dancer, his numerous awards and championship titles as well as his worldwide participation in dance theatre productions and many appearances on TV have made him a great role model in the deaf scene.
He is committed to inclusion in the arts, runs dance workshops for hearing and non-hearing people as well as training courses in non-verbal communication, in which participants are introduced to German sign language.
