Kossi Sébastien Aholou-Wokawui grew up in Togo and is a dancer and choreographer trained in traditional and contemporary African dance forms, as well as modern and jazz dance. He has worked with institutions such as École des Sables (Senegal) and Théâtre National d’Haïti, and has been a regular collaborator with the steptext dance project and in productions by Helge Letonja since 2012.
In 2018, he choreographed the duet Dans la peau de l’autre, which has been performed internationally. He leads workshops and transnational dance projects and has been working with the ensemble “Of Curious Nature” since 2019. In 2022, he founded the Agama Dance Company and has served as artistic director of the “Centre for Dance and Bodywork e.V.” since 2024.
