Jonathan Kotey Nikoi, born and raised in Ghana, is a dancer and teacher. First informal dance training in traditional Ghanaian dances in the Akomapa Culture Group, with whom he also toured Germany. Training in traditional African and contemporary dance at the Noyam African Dance Institute under the direction of Prof Nii Yartey. As a member of the Noyam dance company, he has been invited to various international dance festivals and given numerous performances. As part of a residency at Kuyum Art Investigations, he created a dance piece that was performed at the Alliance Francaise in Accra, Ghana.
